Christopher Holcombe was the son of Thomas Holcombe and Margaret Trethurffe ^[1].

He was baptised 15 January 1560/61 at Ashton ^[2] in Devon, England.

He was born in Ashton, Devon and only relocated to Hole House in Branscombe after his brother Gilbert inherited it on the death of his grandfather in 158 Holcomb family crest!
